    Experience and knowledge required:
    • Proven Development capabilities on the Force.com platform (Visual Force and Apex).
    • Experience creating and controlling various Salesforce APIs and Web services.
    • Previous working experience using Salesforce's Process Builder automation tool
    • Development experience with Java/J2EE, Ruby on Rails, Heroku and/or other cloud technologies.
    • Previous working experience with automated continuous integration systems
    • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies



    Any of the following Salesforce certificates are required:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
    • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications

    • CPQ experience
    • Strong Client-Facing/Partner/Consulting experience
    • Strong experience with full lifecycle projects
    • 10/10 communication (written & verbal)
    • Leader - experience managing others
    • Field Service Lighting experience is a plus

    Responsibilities*
    Design and develop Salesforce based solutions to address AAUM's unique business requirements and objectives. Design new solutions, enhance existing platforms, automate and optimize processes, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and auxiliary systems. Provide expertise and support to solve complex CRM related technical and operational challenges.

    Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

    Lead technical project design and development to meet business goals and programmatic business requirements
    Design, develop, evaluate, test, and implement Salesforce applications, customizations, modifications, and upgrades
    Support Salesforce and related systems administration
    Create and update technical documentations for solution design, architecture, and specifications
    Optimize and enhance systems processes and automations
    Participate in project team meetings and collaborate with consultants and peers, including system/business analysts, project managers, end-users, and auxiliary project teams
    Support quality assurance testing and defect resolution
    Evaluate and implement third-party solutions and commercial packages based on business needs
    Maintain expertise in current and evolving Salesforce technologies and assist adoption if/when relevant to organization's needs
    Provide mentorship and technical training for the technology team
    General Duties and Responsibilities

    Continually build digital skill sets in order to incorporate into work
    Staff team and Alumni Association events when needed
    Provide staff support to the Alumni Association's Board of Directors, its committees, and other volunteers
    Coordinate special projects as assigned or required
    Participate in Alumni Association and other University committees as required
    Participate in team and staff meetings

    Direct supervision is received from the Information Systems Manager.

    Supervision Exercised:

    May coordinate the work of consultants and project team members.

    Required Qualifications*
    Salesforce developer certification
    A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Min of 3 years experience with Salesforce development such as creating workflows, triggers, building Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superb customer service
    A proven ability to generate creative, innovative solutions with a can-do attitude and a results-driven mindset
    Ability to work effectively with leaders and colleagues in a diverse environment
    Very strong organizational and time-management skills
    Desired Qualifications*
    Advanced Salesforce Developer and related certification(s)
    Experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, SOQL & SOSL
    Experience with Informatica Cloud and/or other ETL solutions
    Experience with eCommerce applications and related cloud technologies
    Experience with Fonteva/Together Works technologies
    Experience with modern IDEs (VSCode, IntelliJ), and version control (Git)
    Experience with Agile development practices
