Senior Implementation ManagerOverviewWe are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to serve as Senior Implementation Manager, leading the Implementation Specialists team in a player/coach capacity. This role combines hands-on Salesforce architecture and team management responsibilities.
The Senior Implementation Manager will work directly with senior leadership to ensure high-quality customisation, integration, and administration of the organisation's CRM Platform. The ideal candidate excels at cross-team collaboration, including with Client Success Managers, Support Desk teammates, and 3rd-party vendors, while delivering scalable and strategic Salesforce solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management- Supervise and mentor the Junior Implementation Specialist, ensuring successful project execution.
- Manage team resources across weekly sprints for optimal allocation and utilization.
- Lead system conversion projects and new integration implementations with accurate, timely delivery.
- Coordinate with 3rd-party developers, balancing workload across internal and external resources, while managing project timelines and budgets.
Technical Expertise- Oversee daily customization of multiple Salesforce instances with a Practifi overlay.
- Design and manage complex workflows using Salesforce declarative tools.
- Develop and deploy custom reports and dashboards tailored to CSM requirements.
- Configure integrations between Salesforce and external platforms.
- Perform data exports, transformations, and imports between systems.
- Ensure all deliverables align with project scope and quality standards.
- Manage QA processes for all team deliverables.
- Write work item descriptions and document instance changes.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, recommending new features for adoption.
Collaboration & Communication- Partner effectively with Client Success Managers and Support Desk teammates.
- Work closely with 3rd-party technology vendors to ensure seamless integration.
- Track and report project resource usage and provide regular stakeholder updates.
Strategic Planning- Navigate a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and complex challenges.
- Translate business requirements into actionable Salesforce implementation work.
- Recommend system improvements and feature adoption to enhance organisational outcomes.
Requirements- 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience.
- 3+ years of Salesforce Solutions Architect experience.
- 1+ year people management experience.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce technical implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Practifi or other financial services ISV Salesforce platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce custom objects, flows, triggers, and Lightning components/pages.
- Familiarity with SOQL/SQL.
- Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
- Diligent, detail-oriented, and strategic thinker.
