Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Role Overview



As an Associate Director - Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and innovative Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients. You'll bring deep technical expertise and industry experience in Health Care and Life Sciences, ensuring that architecture and development meet both client requirements and Salesforce best practices.

This is a leadership role with hands-on responsibilities and the opportunity to influence enterprise architecture, mentor teams, and collaborate with C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture for complex Health Care and Life Sciences clients.


  • Own the technical design and implementation of custom Salesforce components using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).


  • Guide integration strategy using modern integration patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, ETL, event-driven, etc.).


  • Apply deep knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and Veeva platforms (Veeva CRM & Veeva Vault).


  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and data governance standards (SSO, OAuth, encryption at rest, user provisioning).


  • Provide strategic architectural guidance across projects, working closely with project managers, functional consultants, and development teams.


  • Engage in pre-sales, solutioning, and client workshops to define and shape architecture.


  • Mentor and grow development teams; contribute to the firm's Salesforce capability development and thought leadership.

Essential Skills & Experience



  • Extensive technical experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or Technical Lead with a strong hands-on development background.


  • Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and LWC with deep understanding of Salesforce development standards and performance optimisation.


  • Industry-specific experience implementing Salesforce solutions in the Health Care and Life Sciences domains.


  • Experience working with Veeva CRM and familiarity with Veeva Vault.


  • Strong experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and knowledge of Life Sciences Cloud.


  • Deep architectural knowledge in:


    • Integration approaches (ETL, ESB, REST, SOAP, Event-based, etc.)


    • Security and privacy standards (SSO, OAuth, encryption, user provisioning)


    • Event-driven architectures (Salesforce Platform Events, Kafka, etc.)


    • Relational databases and data migration best practices


  • Experience working in large, global organisations and understanding enterprise IT landscapes.

Desirable Qualifications



  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or working towards it


  • Veeva certifications


  • Experience in consulting or working for a top-tier Salesforce partner


  • Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA) in Health & Life Sciences
