    We're supporting a Salesforce consulting partner that is kicking off a new project and looking for a Senior Certinia (FinancialForce) Architect. This role will lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of Certinia ERP/PSA solutions built natively on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on scalable design, clean integrations, and strong financial and services process alignment.


    • Engagement: 6-month contract (expected extension)


    • Location: 100% Remote

    Key Responsibilities



    Solution & Architecture Leadership


    • Lead solution architecture across Certinia ERP/PSA (Financials, Projects, Billing, Revenue, Resource Management, Time & Expense).


    • Translate complex finance and professional services processes into scalable Salesforce-native designs.


    • Define target architecture, data models, integrations, and best-practice implementation standards.


    Implementation & Configuration


    • Own configuration strategy for financials and PSA, including chart of accounts, project structures, billing rules, revenue schedules, approvals, and workflows.


    • Guide functional and technical teams through requirement interpretation, solution options, and design decisions.


    • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery governance.


    Integrations & Data


    • Architect integrations between Certinia, Salesforce core clouds, and external systems (HRIS, ERP, data warehouses, etc.).


    • Define data migration strategy for financial and PSA data, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.


    • Establish data governance and reporting frameworks across the engagement.


    Stakeholder Management & Advisory


    • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.


    • Provide clear solution recommendations and guide process alignment during implementation.


    • Collaborate closely with PMs and delivery leads to manage scope, risks, and timelines.


    Quality & Best Practices


    • Establish and enforce Certinia/Salesforce best practices across configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.


    • Review solution components to ensure architectural consistency.


    • Mentor consultants and client-side resources throughout the project lifecycle.

    Required Experience



    • 8+ years ERP/PSA implementation experience, with 3-5+ years of hands-on Certinia (FinancialForce).


    • Experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant on multiple full-lifecycle implementations.


    • Deep understanding of:


      • General Ledger, AP/AR, Billing, Revenue Recognition


      • Project Management, Resource Planning, Time & Expense, Utilization


    • Strong Salesforce background (Sales/Service Cloud, declarative config, data model, security).


    • Experience designing integrations (APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft/Boomi).


    • Strong client-facing communication and workshop leadership skills.

    Nice-to-Have



    • Additional Certinia modules (e.g., Customer Success Cloud).


    • Industry experience in SaaS, professional services, consulting, or technology.


    • Experience with adjacent Salesforce products (CPQ, Billing, RevRec, Analytics, Data Cloud).
