    The Opportunity



    We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Automation Strategist to join a growing marketing team. This critical role will be responsible for the end-to-end design, planning, strategic advising, and execution of marketing automation programs-significantly contributing to lead generation, nurturing, and customer engagement initiatives for customers, prospects, and internal teams.

    Key Responsibilities



    Strategy & Vision (40%)
    • Develop and champion a comprehensive marketing automation strategy aligned with overall business objectives, sales goals, and customer lifecycle stages.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage marketing automation for lead generation, lead nurturing, customer acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and upsell initiatives.
    • Design complex multi-channel customer journeys and workflows that optimize conversion rates and enhance the customer experience.
    • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify technology trends and business best practices in marketing automation.
    • Work closely with sales, product, and client success teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing automation programs with other business functions.


    Program Design & Implementation (30%)
    • Lead the design and architecture of scalable and robust marketing automation programs, including email campaigns, landing pages, forms, workflows, segmentation, and personalization.
    • Oversee the technical implementation and configuration of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Eloqua) to ensure best performance and data integrity.
    • Establish and maintain data synchronization processes between the marketing automation platform and CRM (e.g., Salesforce), CMS, and other related platforms to ensure a unified view of customer interactions and journeys.
    • Develop A/B testing strategies and frameworks to continuously optimize campaign performance and enhance user experience.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) across all marketing automation activities.


    Performance Measurement & Optimization (20%)
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for all marketing automation programs.
    • Develop and present regular reports and dashboards on program performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues related to data, platform functionality, and campaign execution.


    Leadership & Mentorship (10%)
    • Act as a subject matter expert in marketing automation, providing guidance and training to junior team members and cross-functional teams.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in marketing automation and related fields.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing automation best practices and playbooks for the organization.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 8+ years of experience in designing, planning, and strategically executing marketing automation programs, preferably within a professional services or B2B technology company.
    • Proven expertise with at least two major marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Eloqua), including advanced features and integrations.
    • Deep understanding of the entire customer lifecycle, from awareness to advocacy, and how marketing automation can support each stage.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and a solid understanding of CRM integration best practices.

    We are hiring for:

    As our Salesforce lead, you'll be the in‑house specialist, the person people turn to for insight, innovation, and solutions. You'll refine how we work, build intelligent automations, and use Salesforce technologies to make our teams more connected and efficient.     This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will operate with a high degree of independence and accountability.
