As they continue to expand our digital transformation journey, they are are looking for a skilled Salesforce Release Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role supporting the stability and evolution of our Salesforce platform, which is critical to the commercial operations.

    Role Overview



    As a Salesforce Release Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Salesforce releases across multiple environments. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, Salesforce developers, and third-party vendors to ensure that all releases are delivered efficiently, with minimal disruption to users and business operations.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Own and manage the end-to-end Salesforce release lifecycle, including sandbox management, deployment planning, and release governance.


    • Coordinate with development, QA, and business teams to schedule, test, and deploy changes to Salesforce environments.


    • Ensure release documentation, change logs, and rollback plans are accurately maintained.


    • Champion best practices in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins).


    • Conduct impact assessments for new releases and support regression testing and defect resolution.


    • Work with internal stakeholders to align release planning with business priorities and seasonal operational needs.


    • Monitor and enforce compliance with change management policies and governance processes.

    Required Skills & Experience



    • Proven experience as a Salesforce Release Manager or in a similar Salesforce DevOps/change management role.


    • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, and release management practices.


    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools for Salesforce.


    • Familiarity with tools such as Gearset, Copado, or similar release management platforms.


    • Excellent stakeholder communication skills and the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.


    • Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong time management and attention to detail.


    • Must be based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship.

    Desirable



    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Administrator, or DevOps-related certifications).


    • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial business environment.


    • Experience supporting agile software delivery teams.
