    The Role



    As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will take ownership of the design, development, and optimisation of our Salesforce environment, with a particular focus on Salesforce CPQ. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support business growth and improve user experience.

    This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the UK.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and enhancement of Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce CPQ
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
    • Design and implement scalable, maintainable Salesforce architectures
    • Customise Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
    • Manage CPQ configuration, pricing rules, product bundles, and quote templates
    • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
    • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
    • Support integrations with third-party systems and APIs
    • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies

    Key Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in a senior or lead capacity
    • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (current or prior)
    • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
    • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
    • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience within the education sector or similar mission-driven organisations
    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Experience with other Salesforce products (e.g., Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)

    Overview



    An established end customer based in Manchester is looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to take ownership of their Salesforce platform and support a user base of approximately 70 users. The organisation uses Sales Cloud as its core CRM alongside other Salesforce products and is continuing to invest in the platform to support business growth.

    This role is ideal for a hands-on administrator who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, improving system adoption, and driving continuous improvement across Salesforce.

    Key Responsibilities



    • Act as the primary Salesforce Administrator for a 70-user environment


    • Manage and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud and other Salesforce products


    • Configure and support:


      • Users, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings


      • Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and flows


    • Provide day-to-day user support, including troubleshooting issues and managing requests


    • Work closely with sales and wider business teams to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions


    • Support system enhancements, releases, and ongoing platform improvements


    • Maintain data quality, including data imports, cleansing, and reporting


    • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business insight


    • Manage integrations with third-party systems where required


    • Ensure best practices are followed around documentation, change management, and platform governance

    Required Skills & Experience



    • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a commercial environment


    • Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud


    • Experience supporting a multi-user Salesforce org (circa 50+ users preferred)


    • Good understanding of Salesforce configuration (no/low-code)


    • Experience with automation tools such as Flow


    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the Salesforce platform

    Salesforce Administrator | Leeds (Hybrid)

    We are an exciting technology business based in Leeds currently hiring for a Salesforce Administrator to join our internal team. Salesforce sits at the centre of our operations, and this role will play an important part in supporting and developing the platform as the company continues to scale.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Supporting and developing the internal Salesforce platform used across the business.
    • Building and improving automation using Salesforce Flow as the organisation continues to modernise processes and move away from legacy ways of working.
    • Assisting with more complex technical requirements across the platform. While the environment follows a clicks before code approach, some exposure to Apex would be beneficial when supporting advanced automation and troubleshooting.
    • Helping ensure systems remain well integrated as the organisation continues to grow, maintaining strong data quality and a reliable single source of truth across platforms.
    • Working with specialist tools including Certinia to support the professional services function. Previous experience with Certinia or similar PSA tools would be advantageous.


    What we're looking for
    • Experience working as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally with the Salesforce Administrator certification.
    • Strong experience building and managing automation using Flow Builder. You should be confident creating, troubleshooting and improving flows within a live environment.
    • Some exposure to Apex is desirable, whether through reading existing code, supporting developers or making small updates.
    • Experience working with PSA tools such as Certinia or FinancialForce would be beneficial but is not essential.
    • A proactive approach to improving systems and processes, with the confidence to suggest enhancements that help the wider business get more value from Salesforce.
